Summer has flown by and at Daylesford Academy we are entering the Autumn and Winter term with enthusiasm.

Our Year 11 leavers achieved amazing results in their GCSE’s, securing College places in various industries, including construction and hair and beauty.

Neil Stoddard will be visiting the school in October to meet with students to help them focus for their upcoming year and give them advice and guidance on their careers pathways.

We will be working with Stephanie Frouillou from the NEC Group to introduce our students to the world of work and business and to support our school with help and advice.

We are hoping to have careers sessions with all parents and carers during December /January to look at options and pathways for each student.

We have also secured funding from Skills for Success for our Year 11s to take part in a programme to look at employment and skills pathways as well as gaining a Level 1 Qualification in Bike Maintenance.
