Here at Daylesford Academy, we work with students who have had a negative and often difficult journey regarding their education, however, we have high expectations for all our students and work hard to raise aspirations, we strive to support students to achieve their goals with a range of meaningful careers experiences. Our students thrive on encouragement, opportunity and chances.
When students arrive at Daylesford Academy, they often have experienced a difficult and challenging time, and do not know what their future holds, have any dreams, aspirations and ideas about their next steps, we will explore options and ensure they experience a range of opportunities, so when they leave us, they are ready for their next steps. We could not achieve this without the support of companies giving their time and effort to our students and helping us change their world.
We are always looking for new employer partnerships to work alongside the Careers Team to extend the student’s experiences and opportunities around careers.
This could include mock interviews, industry talks, assemblies, career fairs, work experience placements and drop-down days to name a few.
In return we can promote apprenticeships/job opportunities and include information in our newsletters
